Hi everyone

I am new to the forum, and also a new member and volunteer at Channal. How have you guys been finding how to cope with the Isolation. Hopefully this will be the beginning, a babystep towards getting up of the couch and out of the house.

Hope to hear what you guys have to say. cya later

Being isolated is like "stewing in your own juices."

Isolation is self imposed. Personally I think we isolate ourselves when the stigma of having a mental disorder becomes too much to bear, and the people we've surrounded ourselves with are ignorant to the stress we're under. Its self preservation to isolate oneself from negativity that could make our situations worse. Isolation isn't healthy, but neither is surrounding oneself with negative influence.
